Information processed on your device
Calculator, converter, customs, company-payroll and public letter inputs are designed to be processed in your browser. Employee names, PANs, salaries, loan values, shipment values, supplier or customs references, letter contents and generated documents are not intentionally sent to our database or included in analytics. Letter progress and optional typing preferences may be stored locally in your browser. Encrypted payroll projects are created only when you choose to download them; we do not receive or recover their passwords.
Romanised Nepali typing and optional AI correction
Local word suggestions use browser-based dictionaries, fallback rules and, when enabled, a lazily downloaded model. Ordinary typing is not sent to Supabase, advertising systems or application logs. Optional draft recovery and remembered choices remain on the current device until you clear them.
The separate “Improve Nepali wording” action runs only after confirmation. It sends only the selected passage to Google Gemini after protected identifiers are temporarily replaced. The proposed correction is shown before application. This feature remains unavailable unless its paid-service privacy and quota controls are configured.
Advertising, cookies and similar technologies
Nepal Toolkit is intended to be supported by Google AdSense. When advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, local storage, IP addresses and browser information to deliver, limit, measure and protect advertisements. Depending on your region and choices, advertisements may be personalised or non-personalised. Google may combine information from this site with information from other services in accordance with its own policies.
Advertising is enabled only after the AdSense review and consent configuration are complete. We do not require an advertisement click or completed advertisement to use, copy, print or export a tool result.
Your advertising and privacy choices
Where required, a Google-certified consent platform will offer choices before advertising storage is used. You can accept, reject or manage the available purposes through that message and revisit the privacy choices it provides. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser, use Google’s advertising controls, or use the site without optional local draft recovery.
Service providers and international processing
Vercel hosts the website, Supabase supports administrator accounts and published template data, and Google may provide advertising or explicitly requested AI correction. These providers may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps and diagnostic logs in countries outside Nepal. Their handling is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
Administrator data, logs and retention
Administrator email addresses, roles, template revisions, reviews and audit events are stored in Supabase for access control and accountability. Hosting providers may retain security and request logs for their configured periods. Local tool data remains until you clear it, it expires under the tool’s stated recovery period, or browser storage is removed. We do not ask administrators to place taxpayer facts in audit records.
Your rights and requests
You may ask about personal information controlled by the operator, request correction or deletion where applicable, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or raise a concern. We may need enough information to verify the request and may retain information where law, security or legitimate record-keeping requires it.
Changes
We may update this policy when tools, providers, advertising or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
